Retailer and Foodservice Own Brands
In retail grocery, Milk Link is a major supplier of own brand long life milk. We are investing in pack modernisation and communication with consumers to help provide a sustainable future for our farmer Members. New interest in this market has been created recently through the development of own brand long life organic milk and chilled healthy milks.
In the food service arena, Milk Link supplies key distributors and caterers with milk and cream portions as well as own brand long life milk.
We are also a leading supplier of own brand long life cream to major supermarkets and food service distributors.
Moo
The moo brand was launched in 2004 in 1 litre semi-skimmed and skimmed milk. This range was extended in 2005 to include Organic milks also available in semi-skimmed and skimmed. In July 2008, moo one% was launched in response to consumer demand for low-fat products which still retain a full flavour. From January 2009, the moo range branched into 1 litre Extended Shelf Life products with a fun twist on flavours – Chocolate Creaminess and Strawberry Sundae.

Flora pro-activ
Cholesterol lowering Flora pro-activ semi-skimmed milk drink is made from fresh cow’s milk (a great source of calcium) and contains plant sterols. Flora pro-activ is delicious hot or cold, and can be used to replace normal milk on cereal and in hot drinks.
Mars® Family Refuel
The Mars® brand is hugely popular with a broad consumer base – in partnership with Masterfoods, we launched Mars® Family Refuel in February 2007. This chilled flavoured milk drink aims to capitalise on the Mars® brand by providing the unique Mars® flavour in a great 1 litre format.
Galaxy
Made from 87% fresh British milk, Galaxy combines the health benefits of calcium, amino acids and vitamin B12, with the indulgent taste of GALAXY and only 2% fat with no artificial colouring or sweeteners. With 75% of young women not consuming enough calcium (according to a 2004 survey),
the new GALAXY one litre fresh drink will help
increase the level of calcium in their diet.
Scottish Pride
The Scottish Pride brand is produced for the food service sector and smaller retailers and discounters, such as Netto and Iceland. The brand is available in milk or cream, as 1 litre, 500ml or pots (for cream).
